A Gem in the City

Great location, could use some renovation, would recommend

Pro: The best location for a city aparmtnet in Cagliari, great balcony, overall pretty good

Contro: Power in the building is bad, went out all the time if you turn on more than 2/3 ameneties. Also there is another apartment connected to the same power source so we had to coordinate with the people renting the other apartment when to turn on the washing machine or AC since running them simultaneously would turn the power off in the entire building. Also bed was a bit bad.

Pro: The 2 balconies, one is shaded and one isnt, really beautiful apartmemt

Contro: The air-conditioning is in the living room so the bedroom door needs be open to allow it through to the bedroom, but apart from that it was perfect

Pro: The location was amazing, right in the center of the city with all of it's bars & restaurants a short stroll away. Close to the train station and bus depot yet very peaceful in the apartment. Close enough to walk to the historic center of Cagliari

Contro: Nothing not to like

Pro: Cozy, comfortable apartment in a very good and quiet location, but almost in the very center of the city. Nearby supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Well-functioning guest support service.

Contro: Solve the Wi-Fi issue.

Perfect location for a few days in Cagliari.

Pro: Location is perfect. Minutes from the station (for the airport) and moments from the heart of the town. Bed was comfy, quiet bedroom and good blackout blinds, wifi was excellent and the entrance instructions were easy to follow. We loved the outside terrace space for our aperitivo before dinner. In sum up: stylish, simple, airy, modern.

Contro: Wasn’t so much a ‘didn’t like’ but the appartment is close to being very much in need of some ‘deep clean’ maintenance: regrouting in the shower, sofa cleaning to get rid of the stains, walls repainting to get rid of the many scuff marks. The appartment is clearly well used (rightly so) and is very nice but it is ready for that all important touch up and maintenance session (Sept’24)

Perfect location, would highly recommend

Pro: Location is perfect, 5 minutes up the hill from the train and bus station and 1 minute from being in the middle of all the great restaurants and bars - for us wanting the beach in the day and the city in the evening there couldn’t be a better location. The terraces are great, one on either side with seating provided and make such a difference in the middle of summer to be able to have outdoor space. Really clean, absolutely perfect for 2 people wanting a nice base for days out in the city or at the beach. Really quiet too, even though just round the corner from all the great restaurants etc. Supermarket less than 10 mins walk away. Estay provided recommendations of shops / restaurants etc. Communication was really great too, and check in was so convenient - key left in lock box and codes emailed to you on check in day.

Contro: The fridge really can’t cope with chilling things at all, small freezer at the top is fine but putting drinks in the fridge would come out lukewarm having been in it all night - we brought an ice cube tray with us so used that to cool water down. There is only 1 set of bed linen and towels from what I could see - there is a good washing machine so in summer can easily wash and leave to dry for same day use but cooler months might not be so easy

Pro: Two beautiful terraces. Extremely clean and well designed apartment. Lovely en suite with great shower. Had olive oil, salt, pepper and straws… always a bonus!

Contro: This is the smallest complaint cos everything was so so nice but could’ve done with a scissors as we needed one. Perfect otherwise!

Loved beautiful Cagliari and loved our apartment and central location. Would definitely stay again but the points raised

Pro: Spacious apartment which was bright, clean and comfortable. The large terrace was such a bonus and used daily for breakfast and evenings relaxing. The excellent central location was a welcome surprise with the bus and train station within 5 mins walk, and the vibrant nighttime social scene very close . Bars, restaurants, retail shops, cultural sights all so close it was amazingly located. Excellent and very welcome air conditioning unit, and nice shuttered windows kept the apartment cool, and dark when needed. Washing machine was a revelation for our 11 nights stay.

Contro: No change of linen for 11 night stay. Kitchen could be better equipped ie utensils, tea towels, sink bowl, mis-matched wine glasses. Rented as self-catered apartment but a little more consideration of this would have been appreciated. Stairs from street entrance steep and narrow (mentioned in another review); ok for us but anyone less-able may struggle, especially with luggage as quite narrow. Shower could have been better installed and controls a bit awkward as a result. Combo oven, grill and microwave took a while to work-out. Good size fridge but seemed to genuinely struggle to keep things chilled. Broken ice-cube trays a bit disappointing really. No bin liners and no advice on refuse collection timetable (different refuse types on different days and with no access to external bins had at times to dispose of small mixed waste in local bins, and then recycled items at the rail station). Not ideal and guidance definitely needed given responsibility is with the guests. Overall could do better really which is a shame really as we loved the apartment and location. A welcome pack in the apartment would have been very ‘welcome’ and would assist guests greatly.

Lokalizacja wspaniała i dwa tarasy na wyłączność, choć trzeba trochę się powspinać stromymi schodami

Pro: Lokalizacja wspaniała. Zaraz przy Starym Mieście. Jasne mieszkanie z dużą lodówką i dwoma tarasami. Przyjemny apartament z dużą przestrzenią. Dobrej jakości sprzęty w kuchni. Silne wifi. Duży, wygodny prysznic z cudownie gorącą wodą.

Contro: Niestety bardzo twarde i niewygodnie łóżko i to powód dla którego już tam ie wrócimy. Do tego prześcieradło było za małe, bo ciągle spadało. Nie było zmywarki, ani nawet płynu do naczyń, czy gąbki do mycia naczyń. Schody do apartamentu strome i tylko dla osób sprawnych. Mieliśmy problem z podłączeniem wifi i niestety obsługa apartamentu nie pracowała w weekend i dostaliśmy pomoc dopiero

Cagliari hat mich sehr angenehm überrascht

Pro: Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Die vorherigen Bewertungen hatten mich etwas verunsichert, aber alles war sehr sauber und hat wunderbar funktioniert. Die Regenwalddusche war sehr angenehm. Tolle Einrichtung und zwei komfortable Dachterassen. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Obwohl sehr zentral gelegen, war es sehr ruhig. Matratzen sehr gut und ich habe sehr gut geschlafen.

Contro: Die Eingangstür hat etwas geklemmt und ich musste kräftig ziehen. Der sehr teure Parkplatz am Bahnhof, aber zumindest habe ich mich sicher gefühlt.
